Sensors
Marine classification compatible sensors and monitors effective for monitoring conditions around the engine
BWM sensor
(Bearing Wear Monitoring): Bearing wear monitoring system
This sensor monitors wear and deterioration on main bearings, crankpin bearings, and crosshead bearings in 2-stroke engines. It is useful for detecting bearing abnormalities before major failures occur and avoiding unnecessary overhaul inspections.
WIO Sensor
(Water in Oil): Water in Oil Sensor
This sensor has the same performance as the current iteration but with improved ease of mounting allowing it to be attached and detached using only a connector. The sensor probe can be easily replaced with a ball valve. The second analog output port can be switched to output temperature or humidity.
BTM Sensor
(Bearing Temperature Monitor)
- This sensor measures the temperature of each bearing inside the engine.
- Parts to be measured: Main bearing, Thrust radial bearing, Crankpin bearing & Crosshead bearing
- Temperature measurement range is 0 to 200°C
LWM Sensor
(Liner Wall temperature Monitor)
- This sensor measures the cylinder liner wall temperature.
- Temperature measurement range is 0 to 600°C
Gap Sensor
(Low Speed Engine Electronic Control (MAN))
This sensor monitors the stroke of the fuel injection pump or exhaust valve of a 2-stroke engine. It checks the normal operation of the fuel injection pump or exhaust valve.
