At Nabtesco, over the years of manufacturing and maintaining marine propulsion engine control equipment, we have accumulated a vast knowledge within our company. As a result, we offer a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.

After-sales Service

Comprehensive maintenance programs are available to ensure safe marine transportation

Regular Preventive Maintenance (TBM) Proposal

We offer preventive maintenance programs depending on the service period and system, as well as individual support programs tailored to customer requests.

From TBM (Time Based Maintenance) to CBM (Condition Based Maintenance)

Depending on the product model, we can offer preventive maintenance programs using CBM instead of TBM.

*TBM…Time Based Maintenance, CBM…Condition Based Maintenance

Remote Support available according to your needs can be provided.

By connecting remotely, Nabtesco can accurately understand complex malfunction occurrences that are difficult to diagnose on the ship. We can use this information to support the selection of necessary parts.

This is a with a view to providing advice to the ship from a dedicated remote support room at our factory. This service is one of the countermeasures we take when dispatch of an engineer is not possible due to dangerous areas or lack of availability. Although this service is not always in place, it will be used to handle emergencies.

(1) After communicating to confirm the status of the ship’s problem, Nabtesco will send the necessary parts and provide remote support to the crew when required.
(2) When it is difficult to determine the status of the ship using only information provided from the crew, this service may be used to connect and communicate with the ship to ascertain accurate facts.

Curricula (TBM) Tailored to Participants Including Crew Members and Ship Manufacturers

Our goal is to provide young sailors with thorough training and familiarize them with our products. This allows us to further build trust and relationship between ourselves, crew members and ship manufactures for future new build orders. In the event of a problem, we provide continual support to reduce downtime as much as possible. We communicate initial investigation points so that the crew can take immediate action. This enables the crew to accurately communicate the situation to us to rectify the problem.
