Marine Control Systems Company Development Department Staff as Panelists at “Cybersecure at Sea 2025” hosted by CYBEROWL (DNV Company)

CyberOwl regularly hosts cybersecurity seminars for its clients, primarily targeting ship owners and ship management companies. In Japan, the previous event was held in Tokyo in 2023, and this marked the first seminar in a year and a half.

At this event, a panel discussion was held under the theme: ” Securing the vessel supply chain – opportunities for practical progress”
From our company’s perspective as a manufacturer, we shared our experience in complying with cybersecurity regulations issued by classification societies to date, and discussed the measures we believe will be necessary to ensure maritime cybersecurity in the future. Other panelists presented their views from the perspectives of cargo owners, shipowners, and classification societies, and discussed the outlook going forward.

We will continue to obtain type approval of cybersecurity from other Classification Societies in various countries to contribute to the safe navigation of marine vessels.
